Any of you boys try this clear top coat?

    "Seal-Coat Lure and Jig Finish
The TOUGHEST finish ever put on a lure. This one-step system is as strong as epoxy without the measuring, mixing and smell. This finish has an extreme durability, a deep gloss, is non-yellowing, fast-drying and worm proof. "

I also saw it at BPS the other night. It is the consistency of warm molasses. Lots of nice colors too, but too thick to spray...

You should be able to thin it with water. Most guys thin their product if they spray it anyway..... Not sure this is the same as BPS... I didn't think it came in colors.

Same name, logo with the jig and all. I was suprised, as it is a new addition there. They had about 8-10 sq feet of rack space in the make it yourself section of our BPS devoted to that product. The clear really caught my eye, something easier than epoxy...

But I did not catch what thinned it, or what cleaned it up. Nor did I buy any, but I will be back there next tuesday and will look at it more. The colors were real neat.

Is this what your talking about? Dip or markers? http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas...43716
Not sure if this is meant to paint on... Looks like just a dip it thing, or markers.

OK... Thats not the same brand or type of paint. I used to buy that CSI paint by the gallon. Infact I think alot of it has probably gone bad. That stuff was expensive especially when you pay a has mat delivery charge.

Not to hi-jack your thread Mike but you may want to try this http://www.dicknite.com/s81.htm I got away from Devcon awhile back, I didnt like the additional weight plus it has a yellow tint it added to my cranks plus the one parts are so much easier to use, dicknite's is a one part moisture cured polyurethane that can be sprayed or dipped or brushed it's gin clear and drys rock hard. There is another company in Canada I think called "top secret" that also makes one part coatings that alot of builders are having success with top secret->http://www.topsecretcoatings.com/

Thanks... I was just passing on this new stuff thats water based and may be better in a air sprayer, Or just wash up with water. It may be junk..

If you only bought one of the links you posted, What one would it be? I can buy outside weather resistant/waterproof exterior clear coat in a can at Lowes/Home Depot.... I also looked at epoxy floor coatings in gallons on line... I'm just playing around..
