    Repairing guides

I have a couple of rods that the wrap holding the guides has loosened up allowing the guides to come out. I have removed all of the old wrap & cleaned the rods up. I understand how to wrap the guides back on the rods but when I go to coat them with epoxy do I have to keep them rotating to level the epoxy? If so, how long, how fast, etc. do they have to be rotated? What type of flex coat do I need, regular or lite? Sorry for all the questions, but I would rather do it myself than to pay someone $15-20 ea to do it for me. Thanks.

Coat it with regular flex coat. Goop it on till it drips off. Then make a bead around the ends of the wrap if you want the epoxy perfectly straight around the guide. Let the rod set a few sec. If there is a drip pull it off of the bottom with the brush then rotate 180 degrees every 10 min. for one hour, then 15 min for two more hours, then every 1/2-full hour till dry. Flex coat is usually cured enough to pull off the rack after 6-8 hrs.
