    Pouring Jigs

I am in need of a little advice. I am wanting to start pouring my own jigs. What would some of you more experienced guys recomend getting to get started? I have done a little research on the internet and there are quite a few different products out there. What items are necessary to get to get started? Thanks Ryan.

    Re: Pouring Jigs (Ryan)

I started by getting a good melting pot. Mine is a bottom pour. Find a mold that you want, buy all the components. When you start pouring, I just practiced with a bunch of pours into the mold without hooks weedguards, etc. then just put i back into the pot to melt again. It will take a little bit of time to get used to, but it really is easy. I make weedless round jigs and weedless football jigs and I have found that the pouring is the easy part. It starts getting a bit difficult when painting and curing (powder paint) with the fiber weedguards.

By the way, I started with Do-It Molds and bought my materials from staminainc.com.
