Jerkbait Questions

What is THE best all around jerkbait in your opinion? 3-6' depth range.

I have fished the LC 100 pointers a good bit, rapala husky jerk and the Jackall Squad minnow but the last two years I have outfished those with a bait Academy sold. They no longer carry it that I can find and I only have about 5 or 6 left (and they are fragile) so I need something else. I went through 8 of these last year from Academy from October through March.

I am looking at a few including the Megabass 110 but there seems to be several versions, the pointer 78XD and a few others. Which one is the best?

I know the consensus will probably be the Megabass 110....

I agree 100%. Suspending model is my favorite.

The suspending are great but few colors are actually made in it. Most are "slow floaters" and this is 100% of what I own, as most of mine were bought years ago. The great thing about a slow floater is that you can add tweight to make them suspend and also get the custom painted without sinking. I add a piece of suspend strip to the back hook shank to make them suspend. IT is much easier to make a slow floating bait suspend than a bank that sinks, suspend or float...

I simply have no use, personally, for the hi-float or silent riser.
