It sinks. Tried it with some topwater baits and it pulled em right under. Floroclear is great for cranks, jerkbaits, spinner baits, swim jigs, swimbaits, etc. I prefer 100% floro for bottom bouncing (Jigs, worms, etc) and Mono for topwater however but for the money and performance, Floroclear is about as good of an all purpose 100% floro substitute line as there is and it handles great.

I used fluro clear in the past and liked it. only thing i have noticed(as well as with a few friends saying the same thing) it seemed like the lighter lb test stretched more than mono? anyone else notice this?

Buy in the larger spools to save money. For floro P-Line 100% is all I use and yes it is expensive but I think it is worth it. For topwaters and jerkbaits I use good old Berkley Big Game that is like $5 for a mile.
