Palomar, or double Palomar are the ticket in my opinion.

I"ve heard the double palomar is the best, but I use the clinch knot

Just remember to add a little super glue on the knot also-is not going to slip.

Berkley braid knot won't slip and is easy to tie. I've been using a three turn version with fluorocarbon, as recommended by somebody, works very well.

    Re: braided line problem (20_lb_sack)

I have been using the polomar and double polomar but I have still had some line slip issues. A buddy showed me the San Deigo knot this last weekend and he says he has not had a knot slip since he started to use it. It is a little more complex than a double polomar knot but it seems to work well.

Agree with David. The Braid knot is easy to tie and doesn't need any super glue. I have been using it for years on fluoro as well. Much more shock strength than any thing else. Heck, I have started using it with mono now.
