I heard that they did not pay out a bigfish for the tournament. The results page showed no big fish award. The rules for 2010 show there is a payout. Also heard that only the winner got the nice trophy that they use to give to the top 5 on each side. Can someone give me some info.
I'm pretty sure they did give a big fish award for both boater and co angler. I did notice that only the winners received a trophy.
I'm pretty sure they did also. They also announced there was a prize for Evinrude owner with the biggest fist, but I don't remember the details.

I remember hearing a few guys weighing big bass, didnt stick around til the end though. There were only trophies for first this year.

Yes only 1st place trophies this year, I don't know why big fish isn't listed on the website, and on another note 11 co-anglers got sent home from the TX meeting. Only 120 boats. 1 disqualification for a boater who forgot to turn in his float/chip. New TD this year, Mack is still bumping fish.
Seemed alot of guys who have fished the last few years werent there. Wonder why the mass exodus?

They were heavy on co-anglers but i think some boaters stayed away with the water conditions.I hope we get a decent turn out in the Shenandoah division.

I believe that is the case. My garenteed boater dropped out the Wed before. Luckiliy I signed up early enough to get in.

Also they didn't have the staff boat in the water for the launch or check-in. TD started us from the BC dock and we checked in there.
They definately paid big fish. Good friend of mine and club member (Chris Davis) finished 2nd as a co angler and also had big fish for the tx. He got a check. He also said that only 1st place gets trophies this year.
