Sorry to hear you have to put up with a school system rule. I was a teacher and I know how kids, teachers and etc can be. If your boy followed yours rules then all is well Mike. I know that it pisses you off how the system dealt with it but that is the society we live in now. You can write a letter to the superintendent but it may not do any good, however, it may make you feel better.My dad would only have been mad with me if I didn't give the other boy a few Knickel Knots as well.....if I didn't he would have made me fight him again
Son got a few licks in after tackling the the other kid....but, you should see his face.

Damn! I hope Jake stomps the kid if it happens again. This is insane....
My 15 year old has been suspended for defending himself and my 14 year old got suspended last year for defending himself. I told the principal we had zero tolerance before he did. We are not going to put up with it either. Same as most peoples rule, don't start but don't take a whooping either. Took both of mine fishing because i knew it was warranted for what happened.
Yeah my son has been attacked 4 different times this year and has resulted in 5 charges of assault being brought against the other kids...after meetings and talks with police and lawyers I finally told Brandon if someone starts anything take them down without saying $hit...he took my words to heart, put a kid twice his size on the floor. Now we are having him transfered because this still did not stop it. It all started on the bus with 2 girls beating him in the head and putting knots on his head and everyone keeps saying I can beat you up...wanna see. It pisses me off as a parent but what can you do ? We have tried the school and legal ways.
