    Kerr Weekend

Well, just got back from TBF 6 man, all I can say is tough fishing this weekend. Top weight was a little over 19 lbs. I came in with limits both days (4 fish) and had a total of 17.94 lbs. I did manage to take 2nd place and made the State team. Caught ALL my fish in Nutbush, throwing a green Finesse worm into the middle of bushes I found in at least 5-6 ft of water. Most fish were caught towards the mouths of secondary creeks. How did the BFN side of the house do?

I know 2 others that made it. 3rd place was Rick Smith from Lake Gaston B/M and 4th was Larry Elliott (ex-conservation director). I don't know the guys name that won it.

    Congrats Rob!!! Great Job!!

VA BASS Nation had 145 boats (290 anglers).
    Winning weight was 22 pounds.
Took around 17 pounds to make state team (Top 8 anglers).
12.65 pounds to get a check (paid 35 places).
Several Region 7 guys got checks, but I don't think any made the State Team.
Patrick finish 33rd and got a check.

Congratulations Rob! It was a tough bite for me on the BASS side. Caught a bunch of fish but could only get one each day to measure. Great job! Good luck on the state team. Will be pulling for our region/BBC brothers!
