    I may have a problem

I was tinkering around with my motor today and noticed that something was missing. not sure what they are called, but its what keeps the motor from being overtrimmed. how exactly do I fix this? here's a pic.

It's called a thrust pad you can probably get the threaded portion out with and EZ out. New one will cost you $21.14, Check that the roller ont the motor side is still there and put some triple guard grease on both of them both sides. It has nothing to do with preventing the motor from over trimming.

Can somebody help me find these. I have done countless google searchers with little luck. Do they make trim extenders for this motor? I see mercury and yamaha extenders. Will the threadsfit?

No they will mess up your motor like what is happening now. You need to add either wedges or spacers to your HULL.

    Thanks guys I found them.

Championman. How hard is it to put in the wedges by yourself. I would like more bow lift if possible and have been thinking about doing this.

Thanks I kind of figured that after looking at them on the internet. Oh well, I'm not to worried about it. Sounds like it will be expensive to do.
