    Cracked head!

Man - bad news today. My Big Johnson is broke! It is a 1997, 225 venom. Does anyone have a decent replacement? My boat is too nice to scrap and start over. - DC

Is that the extent of the damage? Fred might have one laying around or know someone......

The estimate I got was around 7K. I'm sure as heck not going to put money back into it. I think my money could be better spent on another one with a warranty. Thanks. - DC

I'm sure I could but I think I'll go the warranty route on another motor. Thanks. - DC

Check the motor for sale forum there are a number of the 225 HO E-Tec's for sale with some decent pricing and warranty. These guys bought the 250HO's when they came out and need to sell the 225's.
