Johnson 75 Stinger, Large or Small Gearcase?

I have a 1979 Johnson 75hp Stinger, 75ELR79R, and need to reseal the gearcase. OEM part #'s show two different kits, one says for the small gearcase and one part # for the large gearcase. What constitutes the difference between the two? Obviously, I want to order the right kit. Thanks

if it's a 15" midsection it's a small gearcase.20" is the large one.

Thanks, I found it as well on another site, it noted that the small case has 4 water inlet holes, the large has 3 water inlet holes. Mine is the 20" shaft (large). Thanks again.

The L in the model number designates long shaft.
