I have owned this motor for 2 years now and have only had minor issues. (Knocking on wood) In the 2 years I would say I only have 30 - 35 hours total run time on it if that. I plan on having the water pump changed this winter, and I thought about having the motor decarbed. But I keep reading about "Sea foam" and was wondering if I use this product will that take care of the decarbing process? Or will I still have to take it in the shop and let some one do it. I am not in any way mechanically gifted. I have been reading on here about a shock treatment that is described on the can. I assume that is for the decarb? The only oil I have used for the 2 years is XD-50. Thought if I could get the decarb done I would start using the XD-100 and not have to worry about it anymore. I would really appreciate any feedback.![]()
