The powerhead was replaced a couple months ago - not a dressed powerhead from BRP since they were out of stock. Since the repowering, the engine has a "miss" like running on 5 cylinders rather than 6 (plug, injector??) when idling at about 800 - 1200 RPMs. Miss was worse during the breakin period, but still happening now. Dealer will hookup to computer again, but doesn't expect to find errors. I'll replace plugs to eliminate that possibility.
What model spark plug does Evinrude recommend? It currently has Champion 9005 in it and a local dealer is quoting another model when I'm calling about buying replacements.
