Tach quit on the last trip out......Charging system is still charging. I have a spare tach to try , but it has 2, # 6 settings on it, 6c and 6p . The old tach just had a single 6 setting.....which one do i need to set the other one to to test it?

thanks , tried it on 6p...... Sys ck cycles thru, but still no RPM reading with different tach.... Regulator ?
Swapped out regulator with one off another motor I had. Charges like before, but still no tach function. What do I need to check next ?
