    Results of SoAl Miller's Ferry

Boy! Did the ones that didn't go miss a great time or what?!!! We had lot's of food, lots of fellowship, little bit of adult beverages, oh and we did a little fishing too.

Thanks goes to Chad and Mike for hosting our tx and letting us use their cabin for the get together. They also won the Friday big fish tx with a largemouth a little over 5lbs.

I appreciate everyone making the long trip to Camden. Also it was good to put faces with some members of our CoAl yellowsally, hook1 and Burn1.

We had 11 boats for this tx and all but one weighed in a limit despite the....let's see didn't the weatherman say 14mph winds. BS! I was scared to fish next to the bank for fear the wind would blow a tree down on me! The ride back to the ramp was let's just say it was interesting. I thought about Joseph in his aluminum Tracker boat about mid day with the wind blowing big time. I guess he did alright because he brought in the big fish of our tx. Congratulations to Clint and Jared on first place and Drew and Sarah for second place. And even ol Eddie and Mark managed to "find an acorn".

You need to put with Rick's picture on match.com that he is also a good morning snuggler. Thats just what everybody determined while we were waiting at the ramp all morning. By the way this is my new screen name had to loose the Blue Ranger.

Re: Results of SoAl Miller's Ferry (dtarules)

The steaks in the white paper came from Pepper Tree Steaks on Vaughan Road. There is (or used to be) a good place on Hwy 143 but I'm not sure of the name. And I do know Hardin's had good steaks at one time, but haven't bought from there in many years.

Congratulations to all the winners! Had a great time despite the hurrican force winds.

And a big thanks to Chad and Mike for the hospitality, chef service and potatoes; something like that can almost cause a man to give up inside information on fishing Jordan....almost!
A bad day of fishing is still a bad day of fishing, but it beats some of the alternatives!!

Please offer my appologies for butchering their names

"Eddie has it wrong. But its OK we know you are a little older and maybe hard of hearing."

I not hard of hearing. That's from years of being married and the development of "selective hearing."
