1999 Renegade 20

Looking at friends 99 model. Trying to find out a few things.Checked Nada. This is a single console. 225 Johnson. I took the boat out on Saturday. Handles OK. I've owned a couple Jags years ago, so I have some dealings with big boats. Mechanically, it's in good shape. I've not yet done a compression test, hope to tomorrow. Saw some of the issues on other post. Transom seems to be in good shape. Not soft around floor drain. Any other things I should be looking for? Boat has no electronics to speak of . Gonna need a troll motor. Seats in good shape.. Carpet is rough on deck. Hull looks good. Sides of boat has seen plenty of Toledo Bend and it shows. Pretty scuffed up. No buffing gonna fix that. One side quite beat up more than the other. What am I forgetting? Any thoughts on price?
He's wanting $ 8500.00

Just figured FS. How about the other 2?

Dont know why its called a BS and DL, but the BS should be the single console and the DL should be the duel console.

BS = Bass Single (Console)
DL = Dual (Console)

I think that boat and the javelin 400 & stratos 200XL has the same hull a fast boat set up right ?

$8500 sounds like a good price if the motor checks out fine. If I was to sell mine I would be asking about $2500 more and thats with t motor and electronics and I don't have $2500 invested in t motor and electronics, well not yet anyway.
I have had no issues with my boat and plan on keeping it for quite awhile. The Johnson is a reliable strong motor but loves to drink the gas.
