    05 201 pro xl hp rating

    im looking at a 05 ..201 pro xl with 300 vmax he says it is rated for that 300 . I just wanted to double check before i get to interested. thanks for any help

    Heck YEAH!!! That had the "MAGNUM" edition. Rated for a 300 max!

    Just that year or what I dont know much bout the stratos boats ? The boat is in Idaho would be a long hall from ohio just wanted to be sure what im dealing with .

    Depending on where the boat was purchased, you could have gotten it rated for a 300 in several year models.

    The 'Magnum' package was only offered from the plant for a limited time. But, there were a lot of Coast Guard HP Rating Plates made. So, if the dealer could get one, they could sell them with 300's.

    The boat can definitely handle the 300 Yammie. I wouldn't be concerned about it at all. I've driven one with a lot more power than that.
