I recently installed a transducer mounted on the back of the Javelin Renegade 20'.
Left of the motor. I am reading turbulance while on plane and the graph flashes. Due to the different steps in the transom, I do not see a better place. Does anyone have a picture of how yours is mounted. Option 2 would be to epoxy it on the inside. Does any one know if there is styrofoam between the hulls?? will this work

On my 285, my tx is just sitting in the bilge, with a cable tie holding on to one of the live well hoses. As long as there is about a cupful of water in the bilge she works perfectly. The tx for my SI is transom mounted, but on the second step so that while on the plane it is out of the water completely. I don't get any spray that way.
