Mystery hose in '99 201 PRO

I recently installed a Troll Well in my '99 201 Pro, and in the process had the opportunity to take a look into the inside of the hull from the front to back. There is a clear plastic hose that goes into the center front storage compartment, but is not attached to anything at either end. It just sticks out of the front of the compartment and lays on the bottom of the hull pointing towards the bow, while the other end just lays in the front storage.......there is a hole at the rear bottom end of the front storage box but I can't see if it's attached to a tube or not. Also, this boat has no floor drain, and when I peeked into the hull from up front I can't see how water gets to the bilge area to be drained or pumped out. I can only see up to the seats and no further. I have been caught in the rain and I was able to pump out alot of water, but now I'm wondering if I got it all? And where will the water that collects in the Troll Well go after it exits the tube that directs the water in the hull bottom?? Any help would be appreciated.

All water that drains into the hull goes to the back of the boat.

The floor drain on those boats are under the seats if I remember right. You won't see the drain, but it drains behind the panel under the seats.

The clear tube you are seeing in the front storage compartment is probably the tube that is supposed to be attached to the pedestal hole. If you don't have a seat in the hole, water will drain from there into your front storage compartment. There is usually a hose that mounts on the bottom of the hole in your front storage compartment that directs water into your hull to drain to the back.

Jason is correct! I had water leaking into my front storage and couldn't figure it out. Someone else on BBC mentioned there being a hose for the water. Got the digital camera out and took a look at the very front of the front storage and viola, the is a clear hose with a black "L" fitting on it. On the base of the seat post hole is a black rubber sock with a hole in it. Put the black fitting in the hole, ty-rapped inside the sock and then ty-rapped the sock around the base.

I must have pushed the hose off and all the way to the front when I was putting my vests away and didn't know it!
