I noticed after my last fish trip that I had a puddle of hyd. on floor. After checking out hyd. plate & Steering it looks to be a scuff in the steering cable line. Is there any fix short of new cable or lines? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen them spliced before but don't reccomend it.....don't mess around with your steering! Make sure it's always 100% right!

The first thing you need to do is find out how you got the scuff. Is something rubbing the lines that is causing the problem?

I'll have to wait until I can get some help to see what's the cause. I've got hyd. j-plate & I think its the problem. Arms are to short to check out for sure. Thanks for reminding me to look, you guys think of everything. Thanks again.
