I would find this hard to believe. I am sure Todd @ C and O will be along shortly to verify or deny this claim.![]()

Which of these dealers said that?
Every new model year is the time for ALL dealers to renew their contracts with ANY boat manufacturer they do business with. Every year there are some changes in the products that some dealers sell. These decisions are either the decision of a particular dealer or the manufacturer. There will be far more new dealers for Stratos this year than the few that may not be resigned.
The 200 Pro XL and 201 Pro XL will be offered for 2007.
Kenneth
Ranger cut some of their dealers in favor of Stratos dealers also.....this new marketing plan will require some realignment.
Stratos models for 2007 are as follows: 175, 275, 285, 294, 200, 201 and the 486 FS.
I have several 200 and 201's on order.....so they're not going anywhere.
Like Kenneth said.....it's that time of year. My Stratos area in Nashville just got much larger due to dealers who weren't cutting it not being resigned....this plan is for the better of Stratos.
thanks for the info i will just have to make the trip from louisiana to tenn. to C&O to get me another 201 when it is time thankyou again for the info
That will be the best trip you could take.![]()
When you do, I bet a trip to the plant might could be worked in. If someone from C&O can't break away to take you I'd be glad to. It's worth the trip over for the tour. I've been through several times and was really impressed with the entire process.![]()

We appreciate your kind words!
Always try to do business with your local dealer first. If for some reason you can't, we're glad to have you!
Todd,
What's the 175? Can't find any info on the website. A narrower 17.5 footer?
Cheers,
SM

C and O all the way!!9 hours 1 way for me. I think I passed 5 dealers on the way that weren't ready to deal when I told them what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Todd made it happen. Worth the trip for me!

If I can help someone out up here in Canada I would be happy to. I just started working at a Stratos dealer.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the offerings from Stratos. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Kenneth
Todd is correct...the Stratos dealer network will be strengthened by this. In areas where a dealer is underperforming, not representing the brand properly, etc, he may be cut in favor of a stronger dealer in the same market area.
Stronger dealers make for better service during and after the sale.
My local dealer that was of no help getting my boat fixed is one getting the axe from what I hear. Stratos dropping them. I have to say I'm glad. Bad dealers can give Stratos a bad name so I don't blame Stratos one bit for dumping the ones not up to par.
I'd heard the same rumors about a month ago up here about Stratos dropping all the larger boats and only going to produce a bunch of smaller stripped down models. I didn't even give it enough thought to even ask on here about it.![]()
fffaaaaaaarrrtttttttt... sounds like someone is blowing smoke outta their arse....![]()
