For you fellow 278 owners, is there currently a fishfinder that will fit in the space currently occupied by my 10 year old eagle? I would like to upgrade, but would rather not have to gimble mount a new one on the side of the console. If you have any recommendations, I would appreciate it. Ultimately I would like to find a gps/sonar combo that would fit, but I doubt that will happen.

I have a x-51 in my 278 but need to be surface mounted it wouldnt fit in the orignal dash I made a nice filler from some tubing and it looks pretty good.
Still have full view of the Tack and Speedo.

Im gonna modify a plate to complete replace the old depth finder and mount a flasher
