I was informed that there were hull changes/improvements to the iClass hull after the initial year in 2006 that helped with efficiency amongst other things but he wasn't sure what all they were.
Can anyone elaborate on this?

I've read that the '06's had a problem with purposing. That problem was fixed in '07 so I guess there most have been. Also hear the 06's are slower and are wetter than later years.
Mine will run 73-74 loaded with two people, 76 or so solo. Nothing slow about that and it is an 06. It's all about set up and prop. There was a hull issue that Skeeter fixed if you sent it back to them which most did or so I have read. I personally did and they did take care of it
I had one of the 06's they worked on it and it helped but that thing really did bounce like a basketball anywhere below 38mph.
My 08 is much better.
Best I have seen light loaded out of mine and i mean REALLY light with a worked prop at havasu was 78.
Reality is about 72 in a tx with partner, though if conditions are right you can eek another 1 out of her.
Cool thanks. I was encouraged to stay away from the '06 iClass.
Like the others mentioned, the 06 20 I had a problem with porposing, turning, and did not ride all that well. I had one of the first 06's and experianced all the above. However, Skeeter took it back to the factory and fixed the problems, ran great after that. Had a 08 and 09 after that and they are the best riding boats I've ever owned![]()
