    Sf 175 ? about the transom

    I was wondering if the transom angle is to steep I trim out and I am not certain if I am trimmed all the way but I am maxed out should I shim??

    Don't think there is a problem with the transom angle. You may have a weight distribution problem or a prop that does not have enough bow lift.

    I had the same problem. I believe it was my bow lift. Try a trophy four blade prop. Trophy is good for bow lifting

    Not so- a Tempest(3 blade) has bow lift. The Trophy has stern lift. The Tempest is usually considered to be a little faster.

    exactly. I have both props. Now running the Tempest at speeds I cannot disclose on a public forum

    great info thnx I just put a 4" by 4.5" jack plate running a 140 Suzuki with a 19 degree prop I only get 45 I also have a but I want it maximized i do have trouble fully loaded getting out of the hole I was thinking of going with a 21 degree 4 blade I also have a 200 hp Suzuki but it wont be till next year.
