    TZX 190 Live well cable

I have an '04 TZX 190 and the end of the live well cable broke where it connects to the actuator. Anyone know how to gain access to where the cable meets the live well? I tried access by removing the storage compartments on each side of the live well but still can not see where the cables connect. Have to pull a seat or the oil tank?

My valves are not on the livewll itself, they are 1/2 way between the livewells and the thru hull fittings, look down in the bilge.

I had the same problem happen to my boat. I had to take the seats out and use a rope to feed it to the back of the baot. Wasn't too hard, just a pain and somewhat time consuming. Good luck...

This is why I chose not to have them in my boat. I've worked on too many of them.

Re: TZX 190 Live well cable (Neilslure)

Thanks Neilslure. I think mine is in the same place. I looked closer at the picture of the live well on Flow Rite website and the valves appear to be between the tanks and the exit hole for the boat rather than right up against the tank as I assumed. Maybe I can pull the oil tank and mounting plate and access it there. I could see both cables when I pulled the storage compartment on starboard side, but it looked like they went underneath the livewell. I have not checked prices anywhere else and found the Flow Rite website in this forum. Looks like their stuff is an exact match for what Skeeter uses.

    Thanks for the help guys.
