    jackplate help

If anybody has a TZX 190 w/175HPDI and a SLIDEMASTER 12" plate, could you PLEASE take a pic of how far above the stationary side plate your inner slide is sticking. I've been fooling w/prop to pad height a few times recently trying to get a little better speed and saw that most guys are running about 2.5-2.75" below pad. I moved mine to that dimension, but it looks like I've got a lot of plate sticking above the fixed part of my plate. Just wanted to see what someone else's looks like. Thanks

    Re: jackplate help (deer0373)

Try the width of a dollar bill to start with, mine is just a little less than that. just keep an eye on your water pressure.
