A few questions about ZX options

Looking in my 2007 Skeeter catalog I have a few questions.

    (1) In the options section it shows an oil tank being optional. Is this an auxilary oil tank? Dont Yamahas have a 2 or 2.5 gallon oil tank?

    (2) Would the center seat be used in place of the center cooler or is it just a cushion that fits on top of the cooler?

    (3) What is shrink wrap (shipping cover included), dont all boats get wrapped before shipping?

    (4) It appears all the boats have a recessed TM pedal, what is the different about an adjustable pedal?

    (5) I notice there are 2 fills on the transom are they both for fuel or is one a remote oil fill?

    Appreciate any info.

Re: A few questions about ZX options (Neilslure)

I don't know about #1...oil reservoir is standard. Also not sure about #2...I didn't know there was a center seat option. My guess is that the cooler would still be there. My last boat came with plastic wrap on it and some nasty tape. The adjustable pedal isn't worth it, IMO. It puts the pedal up so high that there's not much point in having the recess. #5...both fuel.

Re: A few questions about ZX options (RiverZX)

The oil tank is standard, there is an option for a larger oil tank if you want it, but if you fill the standard one, you will run out of gas before you will oil. As for the center seat option, it is standard with bucket seats and the cooler in the middle, if you choose the center seat option, it will be a bench seat and the center cushion will flip up and the cooler is still there. As for the shrink wrap option, that is in replacement of the the standard shipping cover. We don't ever order that as the shipping cover can be reused, the shrink wrap cannot. Hope you find the one you are looking for, it I can answer any other questions, feel free to ask.

Re: A few questions about ZX options (TMOL)

The optional "Oil Tank," is an oil tank which is shipped loose for Skeeter Boats ordered without an engine. So if you were ordering a Boat & Trailer only package, you can opt for the oil tank loose to hook up to the motor of your choice.

Definitely get the shipping cover, not the shrink wrap. I am still using my shipping cover from last March. It may not be the prettiest thing, just plain white, but it actually is a pretty decent cover. I have even towed it 60 miles with it on.
