You should check out Mark on the props forum. I have heard he has a very fast turnaround and does good work. You could prob send it to him in the same time to drop it off somewhere, and know you're getting a good job done on it.

Take Jason's advice and send it to Mark. There are a lot of guys who claim to be "prop men" but don't really know what they are doing. Working a prop is an art and it is easy to screw one up if you don't really know your stuff. Mark knows his stuff and will stand behind his work. He only keeps the prop in his shop for 24 hours then they are back off to you. Being in Texas your total turnaround time would probably be 7 days....3 days to get to him....1 day in his shop....and 3 days back to you. That's just a guess but I can't see it taking much longer if any.
I live in the Houston area. Took two days to get to mark and three days to get back (I shipped the prop on a Tuesday and got it back on Tuesday. Looks GREAT!
