    Numbers for Z520 250 SHO

New boat on the way, what kind of numbers can I expect with this combo? Boat is under construction in Flippin as we speak. I was running a etech 250 HO on 08 Z520 seeing around 73 with full load. Excited to run the new Yamaha!

The etec is the fastest on the z520 hull..Thats from the Flw Tour and what i have seen. The Yamaha is the slowest but fastest on plane. Your last boat was slightly slow at 73, was that loaded? The etecs should run almost 75 and the Yamaha should be around 73///

My 2011 Z 520 with a 250 SHO GPS'd at 74.9 with just me and light fuel load (but with tournament tackle). Believe it or not that was just as the boat came from Ranger without us touching a thing. I was pretty impressed.

Most of the ones we have sold will run any where from 70 to 72 with a heavy load, light load with one guy and full tank of fuel will be around the 74 mark. The hole shot is unreal, mid range is unreal and the top end isn't to bad, just remember to burn 89 octane fuel.

Why 92 octane? Owners manual says 89 octane.

What constitutes a heavy load? I'm getting a 521. Hope to get similar numbers.
