Has anyone ever drilled and installed livewell hatch handles on an old 300 series Ranger? My one livewell the livewell "rope" broke off and its about to break off the other one also. Was wanting to put regular handles in them.

It can be done and I was going to do the same thing , until a night before a tournament and I needed something.
So I cut some six inch strips from a ratchet strap melted ends with a lighter got a good size washer and made a loop and screwed it to lid like the original strap . It's held up for the past two seasons and it was free
Ditto what Scotty said. I used some 1'' nylon web strapping on mine also, works great.

I put the black plastic handles, I think made by Perko, on my 374V. Love it.
+1 on using the black perko clips. I have them std on my 362v and other than age they work good. Replaced the two a year ago and works great..
