1990 Johnson 120 carb fuel leak?

I have fuel accumulating inside the intake silencer when the engine is tilted up. All the obvious stuff looks OK, fuel lines etc... Could this be a carb float valve hanging up? It also seems like the fuel primer bulb never gets completely hard when squeezed awhile. Any ideas are appreciated...........

    Thanks
    Joe

    Welcome to the BBC.

There will be some fuel collected in the air box....some is normal, alot is not.

There could be a float needle hung open, remove the air box, trim motor to full trim (not tilt) and prime the bulb, if a needle is stuck it should leak out of the carb.

If the bulb wont get firm when priming, replace it with a Bomb 3/8 primer bulb.
