Oil choice for 06, 115 carb

    Hi.
I just bought a new, 2006, 115, carburetor motor and I am putting it on my boat tomorrow. I have a few questions about the Oil type and the Oil Injection system. 1. The book calls for XD-30 oil but so far I can only find XD-25, can I use XD-25 and not void the warranty. Or even use any tc-w3 Oil and not void the warranty?
    2. In the owners manual it states that this motor can be used without the oil injection system, to do so it has to be modified by the dealer. A few people have told me that this can be done including the mechanic at the dealer. He stated that all that was needed to be done was to unplug the oil pump and pre mix the fuel and oil and doing this would not void the warranty.
Dose anyone know for sure this wont void the warranty?
    Thanks Hookedup

As for oil I would suggest the XD-100.

I would check with customer service on the warranty question...847-689-7090.

You will be fine with the 25/30 if you can find a dealer with XD-50 in bulk that is the way to go. XD-100 is the optimum but is high for a carbed moror.

If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.
