I've got a 7'11' in my rod box, so I know they'll fit. 6'6" is the longest I've had in the passenger rod box, but I haven't tried any longer ones there.

Les, I have a 7' 11" flipping stick in my rod lockers and several 7'6" rods as well as a 7' 11" KVD crankin rod.
I do recommend the stick jackets rod covers (HIGHLY) if you have rod tubes to protect your rod guides as you put them in and take them out. Make the investment, heart break rod guide break offs are tough to swallow. These truly do work if you have rod tubes.![]()

+1. I bought stick jackets for all of my rods, because I was getting scratches where they rest on the edge of the tubes. They're really a good investment.
7'-8" with mine. Put my one rod that is 7'-8" in the passengers side to see if it would fit.
I also have a 7'-3" all the way out on the outside tube (rod org.) in drivers rod box.
Also have the rod org. in both rod lockers, each side will hold 8 and if I remove my passenger console there is room for 4 more rods with tubes in that compartment.I have stick jackets on all my rods as well and did forget about one 7'-11" collapsible rod that will fit on the inside tubes without having to collapse it.

Speaking of rod organizers.... Do you prefer the locker with or without them? If you use the stick jackets, you could store more rods without the organizer. I have the jackets in my current boat without an organizer and am pretty happy with it. Not sure what I'm gonna do when it comes time to purchase my bird.
If I preferred my rod lockers with out rod organizers I sure would not have ordered my rig with them in both rod lockers.
My 721 has the organizer on the passenger side and full storage on the driver side.
I have some 7+ rods in the passenger side but they all have collapsable grips.
Not sure how long you can get in either side but plenty for me.
I have a 10ft F&F rod but it breaks down.

It'll take 8 footers on either side with no problem. The Stick Jackets or some other kind of "rod sock/sleeve" are a real good idea whether you use tubes or not to protect the guides and also keep the line from getting tangled in another rod tip or on treble hooks, etc.
