I GOT IT! Legend is AWESOME!

Here it is guys. After the 1st test run I had to put momma in the drivers seat & let her go. She hit the main lake in a 20 mile an hour cross wind, jumped it up on pad, trimmed it out at 3,500 rpm's, & away we went. Once we hit the marina she shut her down to idle into it...while idling she turned to me & pulled her ski mask down & said "WOW, that was a GREAT decision!". Meaning a great decision to sell the Skeeter SX200 & buy the Legend.

It looks awesome. What color red did you choose for the stripe? I chose fire red for mine. The upholstery looks awesome as well. Cant wait to get mine:)

Kody helped me ALOT with putting the colors together. We went victory red so it would match the truck. The seats Kody & I both put our heads together on, AND they came out PERFECT! The stitching is white which matches the legend wave on the back of the seat. Kody put just enough black into the boat with the pinstripe & the belly that it brought out the black in the trailer. It looks awesome & I owe it all to them. Those guys are great people to work with.

With the way Legend treated me you would never know that I was just some small time weekend club angler who's a poor'ol public school teacher by day, LOL! Thanks Kody for stretching my dollar to give me every amenity possible. I'm proud to be in the Legend family.

191...we were trying to make it "different" as much as possible...hoping to spur more interest here in the Texoma area for Legend boats...thus the seats, wheels, dash, etc.

I can tell you EXACTLY what the Yamaha tech turned in on the PDI sheet because they double checked the set up on Saturday. With 2 average build guys, all my tackle, & 40 gallons of fuel. It was 49 degrees with a very light fog & a 0-5 mile an hour wind out of the northeast...which was a slight cross wind where we ran it but no chop. It ran 42.9 @ 3,500, 55.2 @ 4,500, & 69.7 @ 5,500...then he bumped it back to 5,300 & trimmed it up a notch more & it topped out at 71.1

Needless to say I was VERY surprised that a 19 footer with just a 200 Hammer runnin a 23p tempest & 6" manual jackplate would do that. WOW! If you want to know best set up for your Legend just ask Kody Bradbury at Legend, he'll help you out.

Get your tach checked. Or your prop pitch is way off. You are running really good 25p numbers.

Sweet Looking Ride . I'd say you matched them colors pretty well. Keep us posted on that SHO. I have been looking at them, but just not sold yet.

I thought the same thing when Kody suggested the 23...I said "that thing should jump out of the water & get on pad but the top end will be sluggish". Maybe I should have the hand held GPS recalibrated but never the less I was REALLY surprised.


Thanks for all the comments, I'm telling ya the 15 week wait was BRUTAL but well worth it.

Everytime I get ready to pull it to the lake momma is ALREADY in the drivers seat so I've been riding shotgun. She loves to pull it to the lake & practice her backing & trailering skills. I think she just likes pulling this one because it makes her look good, LOL!

Thanks man! The 191 has been driving just like a sports car...a VERY fast maneuverable sports car, LOL! I chose the 191 for several reasons...#1 small garage (& I just can't see knocking out walls, LOL) #2 I fish ALOT of boathouses & confined areas & #3 Most of the tourneys I fish are trailered events & choice tourneys (can fish Saturday or Sunday).

By the way, I'm REALLY REALLY beginning to love the way it's laid out too. The center rod box is AWESOME. I was struggling to get on a pattern yesterday in a tournament & had to keep putting up & pulling out rods till I could get something going. I never once had to worry about dumping a rod over while pulling out rods. The center rod box is the way to go. AND the day box at the back of the right side makes it SOOOOO easy to get in & get out baits when changing or re-rigging. So far I am very impressed with the front decks fishability.
