    2005 Gambler 2100

My wife bought me this while I was out on deployment. I really am looking forward to getting this out on the water but I am tentative. My last boat (near 20 years ago) was a 1979 Glastron with a 40 HP, now have 250 horses and have read they are a fast boat. Also wondering about what the heck TAC is all about. I have a MK Terrova and an HDS-7 to get installed first. Well anyways I guess my education will begin sometime tomorrow and further education on Monday I figure I will take it out on the Elizabeth River a bit to learn how she handles, could not think of another place that would not distract me with possibility of fish . Wish me a little luck and I hope to see you all out on the water.

Be careful with it and maybe get together with another Gambler owner to fine tune the TAC,holeshot, driving of the boat. It would definitely shorten the learning curve a bit.

Mike's the guy to talk to, for sure. He knows more than most in the area about G-boats and driving them. If you can't get with him, drop me an IM and I'll take a ride with you. I have a 2200, but same set up.
P.S. Welcome back from Deployment and thanks for serving.

+1 about Mike... he is the man to talk to about driving any and every boat. I am about 3 hours from him, but would definitely drive up to help you out with whatever it is you want to know about your boat. I spend a lot of time in mine, and can help you with that learning curve.

Definitely get up with Mike or Duie, both of those guys can operate a boat!
