I have a 2001 Gambler. I want to put a shoot through transducer, however I wasn't for sure if i would need to cut out part of the inner hull or if the hull is solid in the back. Any help would be great.

What model, and I will get the answer for you.
most of the ducers are mounted under the seat...or step up box...i would be surprised if there wasnt one already mounted there, since most of them came with a lowrance flasher standard...you can usually knock out the old ducer..if not... you will have to cut through the inner liner to get a good signal.its not that big a deal though...

I'm in the same boat (pardon the pun) mine's a '01 Intimidator I think needs a new transducer.

I talked to Dave he said under the center console would be the transducer and there should be 3 more predrilled holes available.
Sweet! That will make things easy. Thanks

When you say center console where are you referring to. I have a 2000 2100 that also need a one, I'm assuming it's in the same area?

My 2000 has them under the battery tray. Two others that I have helped replace transducers were there also.

Are there predrilled holes under the tray?
