225 DI tilt issue

model #E225FPLSOE when you are tilting down just prior to the piont when it comes in contact with the trim cylinder there is a lot of chatter or jerkyness. Told this is common but there must be an ajustment or motion control valve from the tilt down function. Can anyone help?

Try tightening the tilt tube nuts (steering tube) slightly. That will load the hydraulic system and may stop the jerkiness. Let us know what happens.
