Looking for some input. I have an 89 150GT Johnson. The buzzer went off indicating no oil to the motor. Have not priced any replacement parts yet. Wondering if I could just start mixing oil in fuel tank. What would yall do??????![]()

I premix mine but if i had to do it all over again I would just get a new a pump from BRP and go that route. Mixing oil and gas can be a pain.
Burning the candle at both ends.
cut lines on tank and plug, mix oil and forget about it, mine still worked , but i always thought what if it quit on me, much easier on the mind![]()

Idisconected my 88 xp150 last year and was a pain eversince would never run right so I bought one last week $275 and runs good again. Dont seem like it pump enough fuel when it was unhooked.
I think on the mid to late '80's models you are supposed to change out the fuel pump too when you take your VRO off.
