    Batteries for a 206 w/3 units

Ok running a 2005 206 with dedicated GPS on Dash,Graph on console and Graph up front, was in the process of upgrading all these, now it seems that my batteries didn't make it through the winter.....soooooooo........
Have read a lot of good posts about the Sears Platinum Marine 31M its a AGM battery,
was told that this would run everything with no problems,(250 HPDI and 3 units), and since my boat is at the lake and I here at home, have no way of knowing if a 31 series battery will fit on the cranking side. So here is my questions, will a 31 fit on the cranking side, and I am getting 2 more for the trolling motor, in your opinion is this overkill or is there a better solution out there.

    Thanks for your time

Re: Batteries for a 206 w/3 units (Gaspergoo)

There are a lot of different ways to place those batteries in a 206 so it just depends on how you have them in there. I have 4 batteries and an oil tank in mine so if you are just needing 3 total I would think it would work - somehow. Those 3 units really do not pull much on the batteries, but it does take a very good battery to run that engine.
