    what kind of oil should i use for my 1997 johnson 175 fast strike?...thanks

    XD-100 is the best oil if $$ isn't important, otherwise the XD-50 is the next best.JMHO Any dealer should have it in bulk,bring your own jug and they will fill it for more $$ savings. The XD-30 is acceptable too. With any other than the 100 you should decarb every season or 100 hrs.
