Welcome to the family!! Nice ride..... We need a cola emodacon for the under age folks. I don't think I spelled that right, but spellcheck only offers Imodium, and mine was pretty solid this morning.

Your SuperMag is the same as a ProMax, a product of Mercury's racing division. Very popular with the Bullet/ Allison crowd. I'm sure if you posted in either of those forums on here you'll get all the answers you need.

I've has 6 of em. If I can answer anything for you, I'd be happy to try.

Looks good. The Mariner alien cowl is the best looking motor out there.

They have a reputation for popping but I think that is more owner than motor. I've never popped one. They are hand built motors with very tight specs. Nice pieces. You need to run good, NEW premium gas, decent oil and know your water pressure at all times. 15psi at 5000 rpms will keep you safe. Let em warm up enough to kick in the thermostats before you nail it. Too cold is as bad for one as too hot. They make their real power above 6000 rpms so keep it propped to run 6600 at WOT and enjoy the music!
