Put a 6" jackplate on a 190 fs and now seeing some slight stress cracks around the champion bar were the top bolts go through it, what should the bolts be torqued too there were snugged pretty tight initially. Also the cable broke on the livewell were you open and close it, what would be the length on a 190fs
Can anyone help here?

Not sure on the bolts, but since you have to pull the LW cable anyhow ..... tie a pull string (tape securely ) and measure it once you get it out.
1. you'll be sure to have the correct length.
2. installing the new one will be much easier with a cord to pull it with.

I believe the jackplate to transom bolts are supposed to be torqued at 45 - 50 ft/lbs. The jackplate to motor bolts are 80 ft/lbs.
