What kind of set up for 95' 186

I have a 1995 186dc and have a mariner 150 HP with a 23 pitch quicksilver laser 2 prop ( I'm at work so that what I think I remember it is) what size Jack plate and prop could I use to get the most out of this already wonderful boat? Thanks for any advice

I'd say a 6" plate and a 23 tempest would be the ticket.

They learn so well...sigh...my job is done.

Yep, 23 Tempest with 6" rapid jack set at 3 1/2" under pad is your magic ticket.

Put a 6" rapid jack on mine, following the expert advice I recieved on here, and couldn't be happier. Get the 23 Tempest Plus, run it, and get it fine tuned by Mark on the props board if needed, go forth and be happy.
