    New Champ

Im in the market for a new Champion(new to me)2005-2007, but I am hearing rumblings that Champion is in trouble, cash wise.

Could anyone clear that up for me?
Not that I am going to buy anything else, I just thought I would see.

Also, two of the boats I am looking at 206's have the second console, not yet installed.

Is this a major process to install??

    Re: New Champ (Muz)

ChampioN boats are not going anywhere. They were forced to lay-off some folks due to the economy being what it is. As for the second console ?, I would not think it to be difficult to install.

ChampioN is ok. The second console is no problem to install. I put mine in myself and even made it so that it can be removed when I want the extra space.

    Welcome!

There have been "rumblings" about Champion for years. These rumors are started by competitors who know how good Champs are.... I guess they're skeered..

The folks who have done this can explain the installation process.... .

I did hear it from a Skeeter Rep

Are all passenger consoles added after now, or are some still molded to the boat??

All are modular, but some have an easy in - easy out feature. I think it is the '09 Elites with the "easy" feature...

BTW, who and where are you? No need to hide anything here on BBC....

Owner of this site is in Canada, too.... but we know his name... and where he lives...

Take a look at the 4Sale forum here on BBC...There are some very nice 203s and 206s listed....

    Re: New Champ (Muz)

You know with all the rumors you hear about Champion, you would think us owners would dump the ones we have and go to another brand. You know why we don't..........because the boats are that GOOD

That and the fact we know that Champion isn't going anywhere but up.
