How do you access the thru hull fittings on '05 206? I need to change one out to a 1 1/8" fitting for a larger bilge pump. There looks to be no access at these fittings.

If it's anything like the 05 198, there is a plate under the oil reservoir. Remove the oil tank and the plate and you should have access to all pumps and fittings..as well as transducer if you have a shoot- thru -hull one.
The thru hull fittings for the bilge and pump outs, that reside on the starboard side of the boat.

Oh...sorry, you meant on the topcap...![]()
Are there screws in them? I am not at home, so cannot see mine...
What!!! LEA!! you mean you're on the board while you're at work ???![]()
On my boat, an 06 203, the fitting looks to be very hard to get to. The hose runs up from the bilge pump, behind the oil reservoir, and along the top cap to the fitting. The fitting itself has two little holes, one on each side, that look lilke they are for fastners of some kind, but I have not been able to engage a phillips or flat blade screwdriver in them. I cannot reach the back of the fitting reaching in from the back of the top cap. It's just too far up there.
So I have exactly what HO has, a big question as to how you get back there. I think I could just fish the hose thru, the top cap is very open there, but I need to know how the fitting is attached to the top cap, and can I get a fitting that matches. I asked Jon about it ( Boaters Marine ) and he indicated I could get fittings, but they may not match what I have. My present configuration is only one fitting, a bilge pump outlet. I want a second bilge pump outlet, and a pumpout fitting as well.
The new 210's put these fittings on the back of the cap, in the same general vicinity of the pole light. Easy to get to. Since I like Lea's idea of putting the weighin bag on the cleat ( that gal's a thinker ) for ease of bag support and proximity to the source of pumpout water, then I am considering putting two fittings on the rear deck cap, as the 210 has, for both bilge pumps, and re-routing the pumpout (after I install it) to the old bilge port. Then I don't really care if the fittings are a perfect match.
I'll be interested in other's comments on this... My boat is presently open, and the bilge is very accessable.. so I wanna try to get some of this done asap.

I would think it would be easier to use the livewell pumpout hose and cap off livewell fitting and put new bilge pump on hull and connect wires to current pump out switch and use existing hose that is already fitted to the side of hull, just use pump out button for manual bilge. Wouldnt this work?
Richard! I said I am not at home. Did not say I was at work ()
Regarding the weigh-in bag on the cleat...don't forget, I stick a clear hose snug into the pumpout hole and the other end in the bag, so no water all over the place... I forget the diameter of the hose, but I got it at Lowe's...Works great...especially when someone walks past and you think they look like the heat might be getting to them...![]()

My boat has only the single bilge fitting on the top cap. I don't have the livewelll pumpout option or the second bilge pump option. I am trying to acqiure that functionality without changing any of the controls, IE I want them all to work as designed, but I also want the fittings on the topcap to match, which has not been guaranteed by my dealer. Just looking for workarounds to have matching fittings and total functionality.

Why not drill a bigger hole and connect a wider tube and put in a 1500 gph bilge and add the float switch to work as auto and have the toggle switch for manual. It would work as good as 2 bilge pumps.
