How does the new E-Tec compare with the DFI in gas useage. I presently get about 6.5 at 4500-5000. I've calculated it several times and it's pretty consistent. Compared to my previous (OMC) carb motors, which averaged about 3 mpg, I'm impressed. Will the E-Tec's do better or worse. Just curious. Thanks
On oil too if programed for the xd-100 oil!!

My DI HO will not run 4500-5000 RPM. It allways ends up at 5600-5800.
Thats the problem with getting good gas mileage, that Heavy foot.
Must be something wrong with mine too.I doesn't like to run that slow.
