Livewell Pump Area. What is this???

My livewell intake pumps went out. When I went in to pull them I noticed a black plastic thing that has the main drain/intake hose on one side and hoses to fill pumps and livewell drains on the other. And a couple growths on it. Is this just some kind of water junction "box"?

Someone from my Bass club just told me he thought it was called a manifold and it's only purpose was to take the place of a lot of unions and hoses. Makes sense. Any thoughts out they from the Cajun owners.

Just found my pumps on eBay for $30. Yeah!!!

Without knowing year and model it's hard to answer. Manifold makes sense tho. There's a bunch of different confiurations in the plumbing department.

    Sorry for no info.

My boat is a 1994 Ragin Cajun 18XL. Currently unemployed so I'm going through and repairing/replacing what I can. Some of their manufacturing techniques make me laugh. Boat still runs great but might have more questions as I dig deeper. I do have a picture but didn't see how to post.

Sounds like you have what I have. Two pumps to the livewell and those boxes are controlled by the turn style switches by the console. Empty, Recirculate, fill. They allow you to shut off the water into the livewells, etc. They are not very reliable, took mine apart and just a little twig stops them up.
