Just bought this cajun have had it out once so far this season, what a lot of fun!!!
The guy I bought it from said he didn't know what model it was.
My own research points toward a Demon II.
Can anyone say for sure???
Also the Coast Guard sticker states 75 hp., is that really the max or can a safely go higher.
Also, how can I clean up the outer hull??

Nice boat. Can't help you with the model though.
Best to stick with the Coast Guard sticker. If you put a bigger motor on it and you break the boat or, worse, get someone hurt, the insurance company will likely leave you holding the bag. Besides, they work through a complex formula to come up with that number, then with commercial boats, they test it.
If you resize the pics whereever you put them for posting, they'll be resized here, too.

The current motor is a 60 hp., so if I do upgrad I'll stick to the recomended 75hp.

I'm a new Cajun owner myself but that looks to be in pretty decent shape. As far as I know it looks like a Demon II.
My Cajun is a 87' Maverick II and it has a 90HP Evenrude. I wouldn't think it would be a problem to get a 75HP on that one.

Nice boat. Check out the bassboat restoration forum they have some post on clean up the gelcoat.
