Cajun Brat Questions

A buddy of mine has a Cajun Brat that he is going to sell me. It needs some work but that is okay. Does anyone have any idea where the boat's serial number could be located? Are there any issues that you can think of the plagued these boats?

I looked back there and did not see it. The problem is that he doesn't have the title nor does he know how to get it.
